Patrick Watkins, President of Watkins Insurance Group, is proud to be the current president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT). IIAT is the nation’s second largest state association of independent insurance agencies, representing nearly 1,800 agencies and 15,000 agents and industry professionals. Mr. Watkins served IIAT as president-elect from 2011 – 2012, vice president from 2010 – 2011, and was named the IIAT Young Agent of the Year in 2005. He holds the Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager professional designations and is the past president of the Independent insurance Agents of Austin.
