We have a position currently open for a Benefits Account Advisor. 

Essential Job Functions

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 • Follows agency procedures as established and keeps abreast of new plan designs, carrier changes, industry changes, Affordable Care Act compliance, etc.
• Manages claims analytics for Renewal Report.
• Manages marketing process for new and renewal business including: sending RFP to market and tracking carrier response, reviewing plan options and preparing spreadsheet analysis.
• Designs Employee Enrollment Guides and other open enrollment material including COBRA materials.
• Builds and maintains EaseCentral and other enrollment portals.
• Coordinates and conducts open enrollment meetings and webinars as needed.
• Responsible for new business and renewal paperwork including plan changes, COBRA renewal process and rate updates.
• Creates and manages Renewal Timeline for client to ensure successful renewal and open enrollment period.
• Sends compliance and wellness emails to clients and prospects.
• Reports enrollments, terminations, and changes to carriers for clients and informs Producer and/or Manager of any major problems with accounts.
• Back-up for teammate when out of the office.
• Consults with business owners and executives daily.
• Ensure internal system is up-to-date and accurate.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent. College Degree Preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 2 years of Employee Benefits Insurance Account Manager.

LICENSE: Prefer Group Life and Health Licensed but not required at time of hire.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Zywave products, BrokerageBuilder and EaseCentral, a plus.
• Maintaining an established work schedule.
• Must possess required knowledge and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

Required Experience

• Working with insurance carriers on quoting group medical plans: 2 years
• Working with insurance carriers on writing group medic plans: 2 years
• Working at an independent insurance agency: 2 years
• Advising employers on their group medical and dental plans: 2 years
• Conducting employee open enrollment meetings for employers: 1 year

We have a position currently open for a Commercial Service Advisor.

Essential Job Functions

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Processing of policies, endorsement, cancellations, and audits in accordance with company standards in order to provide the highest customer service.

• Certificate processing and other proof of insurance requests per company standards

• Claims filing and follow up with the carriers per company standards

• Keep applications updated in TAM

• Monitoring notices of cancellations due to non-payment payment per agency standards

• Invoice agency bill transactions into TAM

• Timely returning client calls / emails

• Timely handling change requests from clients

• Timely answering company correspondence


Minimum Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: 1 year servicing commercial accounts for an insurance agency.  

LICENSE: GL-Property & Casualty in good standing with the Texas Department of Insurance

• Issuing certificates of insurance for Commercial accounts: 1 year
• Verifying insurance policies, endorsement, and audits: 1 year
• Servicing Commercial accounts for an insurance agency: 1 year
• Working for an insurance agency on Commercial accounts: 1 year

Works with Agents and clients to offer customized group benefits plans through negotiating and marketing efforts.

Provides overall benefits administration to support agency/carrier relations for Benefits clients.
