Watkins Insurance Group Retains Its IIABA Best Practices Agency Status

Watkins Insurance Group, the largest privately owned insurance agency in Central Texas, is proud to announce it has maintained its status as an IIABA Best Practices Agency.

Watkins Insurance Group was among 2,652 insurance agencies nominated to compete for the Best Practices designation by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America and Reagan Consulting, a management consulting firm in Atlanta.

Recognized agencies and brokerages have exhibited exemplary financial and operational data over a three-year period. Accordingly, these organizations are evaluated across 27 performance factors. Overall, just 279 agencies scored high enough to be designated a Best Practices Agency in one of six revenue categories this year. The criteria evaluated included staffing and productivity, carrier representation, and financial stability.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as an IIABA Best Practices Agency again,” said Watkins Insurance Group President Patrick Watkins. “This designation is a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication.”

Watkins Insurance Group has maintained its Best Practices Agency designation since 2013 and employs 130+ insurance professionals. With offices all around Texas, they serve property & casualty and employee benefits clients across the United States.
