Meet our newest staff member, Chris Sutton.
It’s a new year and Watkins Insurance Group turns 70! It’s a testament to our determination, hard work, and forward thinking that has Watkins continuing the journey David Watkins started in 1949. The history at Watkins runs deep and our drive to help can be seen upon walking through our front doors — whether that be in the Austin, Waco, Marble Falls, Mineola, or our new Georgetown office.
My name is Christopher Sutton and I am the new Brand Marketing Administrator for Watkins Insurance Group. Within minutes of being part of the Watkins family, I was welcomed by the smiling faces of my new colleagues and began to understand the values Watkins hold dear. Insurance is the business but it was the drive toward human relationships and helping the community that I saw and felt in each colleague. They immediately made me feel a part of something bigger than insurance. I was able to see that helping the customer and improving the insurance experience are goals that I will focus on in my new position.
I now have the privilege to take those goals and values and use them to raise the bar even more in the new year. I have multiple ideas to unfold within the marketing department with my manager, Dshanya Reese, and Watkins has already shown their support and encouragement.
