The employees of Watkins Insurance Group’s Austin office banded together in just a few hours to raise enough money to purchase cases of bottled water, Powerade, beef jerky, bar towels, trail mix packs, and crackers for the responders fighting the fire. Watkins staff members dropped these items off at the Central Texas Harley Davidson (2801 I-35, Round Rock). The Texas Firewalkers organization is handling donations at this location. A cash donation was also made to benefit the Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team.
